Explosive and consistently powerful
Designed for high-end performance in all conditions
Overly slanted wingtips for super direct handling
We’re proud to introduce Blade’s new freestyle machine. This action packed C-kite has some serious grunt to propel you to new heights and help take your riding to new levels. At the essence of the design are the Sharp Contoured Wingtips, which effectively minimize the bridle system, making the kite very reactive to user input, but highly stable and forgiving to unwanted forces. Another great combo feature for freestyle and wakestyle riders alike is the ability to give explosive pop, but also continuous pull throughout the trick. This helps with stabilizing yourself throughout the trick and, more importantly, experiencing a controlled and smooth landing.
After the initial explosive pop, the unique profile shape continues delivering consistent power throughout the trick. This enhances stability and control for powered wakestyle tricks.
Arguably one of the shortest bridle systems on any freestyle kite, the system is designed to give exclusive support to the LE without jeopardizing the direct feel one expects in a freestyle kite.
Turning is generated at the wingtip, resulting in continuous and minimal loss of power. This is ideal for big kite loops where the kite’s path of rotation determines the kite’s power efficiency.
Internally constructed, the leading edge has four layers of reinforcement patches. This means additional protection from LE impact loads.
Insignia Tape (IT) is a crucial element in the construction of long lasting kites, therefore the Mist is layered with IT in all of the delicate regions around the struts and LE, as well as within the LE. You can be confident that this kite will endure even the toughest impacts.
Extra precaution was taken to secure the LE, by including a reinforcement seam from wingtip to wingtip. This addition promises longevity of the kite.
When unhooking and edging to perform a pop trick, the power escalates smoothly and has a very nice explosive feel, yet the lines do not slack out too much but actually keeps the tension throughout the whole trick”.
Blade Team Rider
There are a lot of good C-kites on the market, but in my opinion the Mist stands out because it gives the rider a lot of confidence and dependability when attempting new tricks. This can be experienced most during landings when I am in full control and my landings are smooth”.
Blade R&D Team
Usually I’m not a fan of small kites due to the fact they fly very nervously and are not so stable in gusty winds. But this year the 7m Mist completely changed my opinion on small kites because it really is stable and does not fly exaggeratedly quick but has found the balance between being a stable small kite with great reaction time to input”.
